Project: Central Baptist Hospital ER Renovation /Addition

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

CMW is providing full consulting services to Central Baptist Hospital for the renovation and addition to their Emergency Department. Everything but the exterior walls is being demolished, and the Emergency Department is being rebuilt.  An addition is also being constructed to increase the capacity of the unit. The facility will consist of 31,830 square feet, of which 7,430 square feet is in the addition. The new Emergency Department will include (8) Fast Track Bays, (18) Emergency Department Bays (two of which are Trauma Bays) and (8) Cardiac Rule-out Bays. The facility also includes a 100 seat waiting room, with a separate Pediatric Waiting area and seats broken down into small grouping around televisions and planters. The Triage space overlooks both the Waiting Room and walk-in entry, with two Triage Bays.
