Project: Norton Suburban Hospital
12-bed Intermediate Care Nursery

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

The project scope involved the renovation and conversion of three floors, totaling 45,000 square feet, of an existing hospital to house a new Mother-Baby Center. The project includes Well Baby, Continuing Care and NICU Nurseries. Ante Partum rooms were provided for testing and care of high-risk expectant mothers. Existing patient rooms were converted into Post Partum rooms. Larger, more modern Labor/Delivery rooms were also added. New public waiting rooms are on every floor, and facilities for the medical staff were extensively expanded and upgraded. The completed project created a new Mother-Baby Center that is more accessible, efficient, economical and, most importantly, customer-focused.
