Project: University of Kentucky Medical Center Location: Lexington, Kentucky This project consists of the construction of a new facility to house the Gill Heart Institute and the Center for Advanced Surgery. The heart institute serves as an outpatient clinic and research facility devoted to diagnostic and treatment services. It includes space for EKG, Stress, ECHO and Nuclear Medicine, as well as six state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath & EP Labs with associated patient holding and recovery areas. The Center for Advanced Surgery includes Outpatient surgery waiting registration, prep, recovery, 8 State-of-the-Art ORs and all required support services for a complete free-standing outpatient clinic. The entire facility consists of approximately 110,000 square feet, spread across five floors. |
