Ambulatory Surgery Center

Location: Lexington, Kentucky (Cooper Drive)

This project involves the renovation of approximately 23,000 square feet of existing surgical services to provide new state-of-the-art surgical facilities. The new design includes a total of 10 operating rooms ranging in use from general, vascular, neuro, ENT, cysto, orthopedic and laser opthalmology. Several of the specials rooms are equipped for minimally invasive surgery techniques, and one of the ortho rooms utilizes a laminar flow system. The project is designed to be constructed in two phases so that the existing surgical unit can remain in use at all times.
